Making A Cure For Type 1 Diabetes A Reality: University Of Minnesota Receives $40 Million For Research

The University of Minnesota has received a $40 million pledge for Diabetes research from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. To be paid over five years, goals for the funding are to capitalize on the University’s strength in Diabetes clinical research and to speed the timeline in order to find a viable cure for people with Type One Diabetes.
